A leading FM provider is seeking a Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias to join their team at a prestigious static site in Central London. This role offers stability, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to work within a high-profile corporate environment.

The Role

As a Shift Engineer, you will:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across a modern, corporate office environment.
  • Deliver electrical maintenance and repairs, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Support mechanical and fabric maintenance where required as part of a multi-skilled engineering team.
  • Monitor building management systems (BMS) and respond to alarms, faults, and system irregularities.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and accurate completion of all site documentation and logs.
  • Work closely with on-site stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Participate in the callout rota (1 in 4), ensuring swift and effective resolution of urgent issues.
You

To succeed as a Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias, you'll bring:
  • 18th Edition (Essential)
  • Control of Legionella or Legionella Awareness qualification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years) - Desired
  • One-day Fire Inspection Course - Desired
  • Strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial or FM environments
  • Ability to work effectively within a shift team and independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
